Requirements for Qatar e-Visa

Here’s what you need to provide for each type of Qatar e-Visa:

Tourist Electronic Visa

• a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry
• a recent color photograph with a white background (max. 2 MB)
• a return/onward ticket

Electronic Travel Authorization

• a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry
• a return/onward ticket
• either proof of accommodation booked via the official website of the Qatari government or the host’s address
• the applicant’s current residence permit or visit visa to Australia, Canada, the USA, New Zealand, or any of the Schengen Area countries

GCC Residents Visa

• Documents stating the applicant’s occupation may be requested

Since you’ll need to attach these documents digitally, either scan the physical copies or take clear pictures using your phone or web camera.

Pay close attention to your final copies: they must be clear and legible, with no reflection or glare.

At border control, travelers must present their valid passports and paper copies of their Qatar e-Visa.

Keep in mind that your Qatar online visa is digitally linked to the email address you used to apply. If your passport expires or its details change, your e-Visa becomes invalid—and you’ll need to apply again.

Qatar e-Visa applications are usually processed within 1–3 business days. In some cases, however, processing may take longer for several reasons:

• It's a popular travel period, so there are many applications to process
• The application is incomplete and requires additional information or documents
• The details provided in the form are inaccurate
